What this extension does

It is a local browser bridge. It lets the CDC Placement Portal send requests to https://erp.iitkgp.ac.in using ERP cookies already in your Chrome profile.

Data we do not collect

• We do not operate an analytics service for this extension.
• We do not sell or share personal data.
• Roll number, ERP password, security answers, OTP, and ERP cookies stay in your browser.

Data used locally

The portal may store login fields in localStorage on your device if you choose Save login. The extension may read and clear ERP cookies for erp.iitkgp.ac.in so you can sign in, stay signed in, and log out.

Network access

The extension only allows HTTPS requests to erp.iitkgp.ac.in. Other destinations are blocked.

Optional AI features

Smart Apply is off by default and is not part of the extension’s required data use. If you later allow it in the portal, resume PDFs, roles, JDs, and notices may be sent to the portal’s optional matcher. Credentials and cookies are still not sent.
